World Class Swimming

Nine of our top swimmers - Jack W, Zibo Z, Tristan B, James C, Sam O, Rachel W, Talia M, Kate M and Paulina G competed in the Bath and Otter relays at the London Olympic Aquatic centre on Friday. 120 schools in total were competing for the titles.

The girls' team swam extremely well achieving an outstanding 7th place and the boys a very credible 8th. The girls knocked 4 seconds off the school record in the 4 x 50m freestyle relay and the boys an impressive 5 seconds in the 4 x 100m freestyle relay.

A very successful day competing against pupils from all over the U.K. including schools from Scotland and Ireland in a world class venue.

We're also delighted to announce that Sam O has been selected to represent England at the Standard Energy International swimming meet in Lignano, Italy at the end of April.
