Worcestershire County Swimming 2025

In January and February 2025, many of our leading swimmers represented their swimming club in the Worcestershire County age groups swimming championships.

Swimmers included Henry F, Oliver C, William P, Eve H, Caitlin P, Sophia B, Evie B, Ella C, Mathew L, Edward L, Constance F, Darcey H, Phoebe L, Reuben F, Lucas Y, Ben W, Rory T, Matilda F, Harry B and Harry S-K.

Many of our swimmers achieved personal best times with exceptional highlights from the following:

🥇 Darcey H is County Champion in the U12 50mt Butterfly, Backstroke, Freestyle, 100mt Freestyle and Butterfly, 200mt Freestyle. To add to Darcey’s success, the time she achieved in the 50mt Butterfly now places her as the fastest U12 female in the country.

🥇 Rory T is now five-times County Champion in the U12 category - 50mt Free, 100mt Backstroke, 100mt Breaststroke, 200mt Breaststroke and 200mt Backstroke. He also gained four Silver medals and two Bronze medals.

🥇 Henry F enjoyed an amazing County Championships achieving four Golds, three Silvers and two Bronze age group medals, as well as two senior Bronze medals for being the third fastest swimmer overall at the championships in the 100m and 200m Backstroke.

🥇 Lucas Y was crowned County Champion for his age group in two events. He also won Silver in one event and Bronze in another along with two fourth place final finishes.

🥇 Phoebe L is County Champion in the U12 100mt Freestyle, 100mt IM and 400mt Freestyle.
