Upper Sixth Results

Congratulations to all our Upper Sixth on a superb set of results spanning A level, IB and BTEC qualifications.

Just under 80% of the year group scored 144 UCAS points, equivalent to 3 As at A level.

78% secured their first choice university place with just under 70% of them destined for Russell Group universities.

210 pupils in the Upper Sixth cohort achieved 56% A*/A in all exams

The average IB score was 38.3 points (equivalent to 4A* at A level); two pupils scored 44 points and both the Heads of School scored over 40 points.

The 48 BTEC entries achieved 30 Distinction* and 14 Distinctions.

The Headmaster comments: "This group of Upper Sixth have worked hard and have also been hugely committed and successful in a number of areas including sport, music, drama, CCF and D of E. They have concluded their time at Bromsgrove with results of which they can be very proud and I am extremely pleased to see so many Bromsgrovians off to the best Universities in the World. I thank all the staff who have supported them throughout their Bromsgrove journey and wish all leavers every success and happiness in the future."
