UK and International University Offers 2024

With IB students soon to receive results at the start of July and the A level and BTEC students in the final stages of exams, the Futures Department would like to wish the Upper Sixth the very best for their upcoming results, and to remind them and their parents that the Futures team will be available with Dr Thompson to give guidance on and after IB results day on 6th July 2024, and with Dr Tchakhotine for A level and BTEC on and after results day on 15th August 2024.

184 students have confirmed their Firm and Insurance offers to UK universities via UCAS including offers to very competitive Russell Group Universities including Oxford, UCL, LSE and Imperial, and other competitive universities such as St Andrews, Bath and Loughborough.

Over sixty students have also applied internationally on top of UCAS. In the USA there has been significant success this year with offers from Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke, Johns Hopkins and to UC schools including UC Berkeley & UC San Diego, University of Virginia, University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, University of Southern California, Purdue, the University of Washington, Pratt institute, Babson and Northeastern. Very competitive places have also been achieved in Canada - Toronto, McGill and UBC - as well as at HKU, cUHK, HKUST and Poly U in Hong Kong and Thammasat University in Thailand for courses such as Medicine, Global Business and Finance.

Students have secured medicine and dentistry places in Hong Kong, Thailand, Germany and Spain as well as the UK.

More of our students are applying to Europe and very good offers have been received from the Universities of Groningen, Tilburg, Maastricht and Leiden in the Netherlands, ESCP in France, as well as from Bocconi and Luiss Guido Carli in Italy and IE university, European University Madrid, Universidad Católica de Valencia, Universidad CEU San Pablo in Spain. We also wish our German students every success with their post IB results applications to universities such as LMU and TUM in Germany.
