U19 Fencing Winners

Last Sunday (7th December 2019), our fencers travelled to RGS Worcester to take part in the Gala Teams event.

This event is part training day, part competition and was attended by thirty-four teams from eighteen schools.

Our Epee team of Artem V, Edwin H and Laura F (who only started fencing in September and was attending her first fencing event) competed in the largest event, the U19s. Despite dropping one of their five matches 45-41, they finished top of the field and were crowned U19 winners. Well done team!
