National Prep School Cross-Country

On Sunday, the boys' and girls' U11 and U13 teams took part in the National Prep Schools Cross Country Championships at Malvern College.
The U11 boys' team came 42nd as a team out of the participating forty-seven teams nationally with individual positions as follows:
Oliver D 71st, Freddie P 184th, William B 192nd, Freddie L 235th and Augustus C 252nd out of the 270 runners who completed the race.
The U13 boys fared better as a team coming 22nd out of the thirty-six competing schools with individual positions as follows:
William P 63rd, Fin D 79th, Alex L 90th, Jack W 179th and Ollie W 184th. Robert S and Hugo B both had to pull up injured.
In the U11 girls’ race, forty-six schools took part, consisting of 260 runners. Meghan H came 105th, Chloe C 161st, Tilly W 165th, Ruby B 171st, Jessica F 189th and Isla G 202nd. As a School, the girls' U11 team came 35th.
In the girls' U13 race, Scarlet P came an impressive 26th followed by Ella K 55th, Sara L 76th, Honey Bo L 79th and Amelia 85th. Emily D unfortunately pulled up with a knee injury. Overall, the U13 girls came a very respectable 11th place.
