Law Society Visit

Pupils from our Law Society visited the University of Gloucestershire for a Law Taster Day. The students engaged in a mock trial of the R v Dudley & Stephens case (1884), a key case in common law which established the precedent for the defence of necessity in a murder trial. They put to great use their knowledge of legal concepts from the mock trial we ran in School to impress Catherine Crampton, Senior Lecturer in Law, before taking a tour of the campus.
