Kit Car World Champions 2024

World champions once again! Our two kit car teams have come away with three trophies at the Greenpower International Finals, with the Senior team being crowned F24+ 2024 Kitcar International champions.

The Senior team also won a trophy for winning the heat and accumulating the most points this season. This was achieved by a 100%-win record throughout the season, competing against universities, colleges and corporations.

The juniors finished 5th place overall, a great result, and also won a trophy for Best Presented Team.

A three-trophy haul at an international final was an excellent achievement and we would like to thank both teams for an amazing season, our 11th in total.

Junior Team: Team Captain Jonnie P, Zara L-S, Daisy A, Arron W, George C, Tia H, Lola J, Charlie A, Rhys P, Harry C, Anson L and vice-captain Imogen W.

Senior Team: Team Captain Amber F, vice-captain Nathan C, Graham N, Shivam C, Day Y, Hector C-M, Jacob M, Alvin W and Maria O.

Members of Staff: Mr Matthews for his engineering skills and Mr Heard for transportation duties and all he does during the racing day.

Sponsors: Point S for main sponsorship, 4QD for speed controllers and advice, Washford finishings for the frame coatings, Eagle Plastics for the ABS on the car and Greenpower for all the support and events that they provide for us to race at.

The DT department is now looking for new sponsorship for both teams, if anyone is willing to help with such a project.
