Invitational Swimming Gala

On Friday, our swimming team competed in our Invitational Swimming gala at the Abbey Stadium, Redditch. Twenty teams were competing for the silverware. The standard was high and Bromsgrove's swimmers performed superbly well.

The senior boys' team consisting of Ivan L, Wilson L, Tristan B and James C achieved gold in the 4 x 50m Medley relay. The senior boys' freestyle team comprising of Wilson L, Marcus N, James C and Tristan B were just beaten on the touch in the final by King Alfred's to attain silver.

The senior girls' freestyle team made up of Rachel W, Talia M, Paulina G and Abigail S swam well to win the gold medal in the 4 x 50m.

Bronze medals were secured by the senior girls' medley relay team, U15 girls' medley team and U15 girls' freestyle team.

All in all a very successful gala where it was impressive to achieve six medals.
