IB Results 2024

We are incredibly proud of the achievements of this talented group who scored an impressive average score of just under 39 points, compared to a global average of 30 points.

Almost half of the cohort scored over 40 points (the equivalent of A* A* A* A* at A level) and of these, a special mention to four students who scored 44 points and one student who achieved the maximum 45 points; she now looks forward to starting her PPE studies at Balliol Oxford.

Bromsgrove School IB class of 2024 now leaves Bromsgrove for distinguished universities across the world such as British Columbia, Duke, McGill, HKU, Oxford, LSE, Imperial and nearly a quarter are heading to KCL and UCL.

This IB class of 2024 have been fantastic role models, and, whether through sport, drama, music, as School monitors or House monitors, they have made a contribution that has positively impacted all at Bromsgrove.

The Headmaster, Mr Michael Punt said, “Some of these students have been with us for their entire school careers, others joined just two years ago whilst many came at other entry points. All of them have worked very hard with the support of highly dedicated Bromsgrove staff and they leave us well equipped to go out into the world. We wish them every future success and happiness and hope they will stay in touch because we will be fascinated to follow their progress and the impact that they make. We now look forward to the GCSE, BTEC and A level results later in the summer”.
