Goggles donated and face shields made
Posted: 07/04/2020
We are proud to support the NHS, key workers and everyone working on the frontline through this pandemic.
290 pairs of goggles from various departments across the School are on their way to County Hall for distribution wherever they are needed most.
The Headmaster, along with a small number of our remaining boarders and residential staff helped to make face shields for the NHS and frontline workers in the DT department this week. And this afternoon, OB Aled Luckman collected these ready for distribution.
Thank you to Mr Matthews, our Head of DT, for designing and making all the parts ready for us to assemble.
(Our small number of boarders are living in one household with residential staff within the School campus).
Members of the medical/nursing team at The Alexandra Hospital, Redditch with some of the face shields that the School made and supplied. We are so pleased to see that these are already being used on the frontline where they are needed the most.
