Classics Trip to London

Upper Sixth Classical Civilisation students visited the British Museum to view ancient Greek art, including the famous Elgin Marbles. They were impressed by the sheer size of much of the sculpture and the beauty and detail of vase paintings. The most-anticipated part of the day was finally laying eyes on the Karyatid of the Erechtheion, their favourite sculpture, and posing for a photo in front of her.
