Black History Month 2021

It has been a joy to begin the celebration of Black History Month this week at the Prep School with the launch of the BHM Competition, assemblies, displays and lessons focused on the national message, ‘Proud to Be’.

On Thursday, the first evening lecture for Years 7 and 8 took place. Dr Olayinka M Fadahunsi-Oluwole’s overwhelming message was that of a positive journey of hope together.

How fitting that international footballer Marcus Rashford MBE received his honorary doctorate from The University of Manchester on Thursday. He is one of many heroes who have been discussed this week.
