Beekeeping Club

The Headmaster and his team of Sixth Form pupils have been supported by Mr Tasker and the DT department to create beehive parts: supers, brood boxes, and frames.

The group have been using wood donated by a local wood merchant as well as reusing some cedar wood from around the School. This will mean that the beekeeping team will be able to hit the ground running when the bees emerge again in the early spring. We currently have four hives in the School Apiary.
