1st Netball Team are National Champions

the 1st netball team were crowned National Champions again on the afternoon of Tuesday, 26 March 2019, this time at the Sisters n Sport National Cup.
The match ended 41-38 in Bromsgrove's favour against the Royal Russell School.
MATCH REPORT:
The Sisters n Sport National Cup final took place at The Grange School in Northwich, Cheshire. Bromsgrove faced Royal Russell School Croydon a team they have not faced before. With their brand new sports hall full of supporters from both schools creating an electric atmosphere, Royal Russell took an early lead and won the first quarter 13-8. Bromsgrove fought back hard in the second quarter to bring the score line back to 20-21 at half time. Bromsgrove played well in the third quarter taking the lead to 34-27. Both teams battled hard in the last quarter with a great display of netball. Bromsgrove turned out victorious with a 41-38 win to be crowned National Champions, meaning the first team are now double national champions, Independent schools' Midlands league winners and bronze medalists in the English Schools Competition. What an outstanding season.
