During half term and School holidays (excluding the summer break), boarders who are unable to go home or who wish to stay at the School are looked after by our team of ‘Guardian Angels’, all teaching or support staff at Bromsgrove. Unlike the regular School week, boarders are able to use their time freely to either undertake revision, spend time with their friends in a relaxed atmosphere or take part in a range of organised activities from cookery, table tennis and basketball to impromptu concerts and yoga sessions on the lawn.
Living in a smaller group affords the students a greater freedom than during term time and enables them to form friendships across the age range. If students wish to explore further afield, there are often supervised trips to London, Alton Towers, Oxford and Birmingham.
The Guardian Angels team truly make the experience a home from home for the students who stay at Bromsgrove during the School holidays.
