Uniform Exchange

The Uniform Exchange is run by volunteers and sells good quality second hand school uniform at approximately 50% of the full price (depending on the quality of item). All items of current uniform and sports kit are sold in the exchange.

How it Works

Items can be brought in to be sold any time throughout the year. A unique code is given to each seller and each item is labelled and recorded. When your uniform is sold, 50% of the sale price is paid back the school PA’s.

We make payments twice a year by bank transfer where details have been provided. Where this isn’t possible we will send a sterling cheque to a given UK address. All uncashed cheques will be cancelled after 6 months of issue.

If you do not wish to receive payments for your items then you can donate them to the school and all monies raised will go directly to the school PA’s. Please put a note to this effect in with the items.

What do we sell?

We sell all current regulation school and sports clothing, sports footwear, books and equipment listed on the Uniform Lists including items such as boaters, kitbags, hockey sticks/gloves, cricket bats/helmets/pads, tennis racquets, shin guards, tuck boxes, trunks and rugby body armour/scrum caps. We also keep some ATMA karate suits for the Prep Friday activity session. We ask that all uniform brought to us is CLEAN and in a saleable condition (we do NOT wash or repair but do have some spare buttons).

Anything which is non-regulation, un-saleable (marked or damaged) or becomes obsolete will be recycled or donated to charity and this will be done at the discretion of the Uniform Exchange.

What do you have to do?

All items should be bagged with a label in or securely attached to the bag (individual items do not need to be labelled).

Labelling slips can be obtained from the website (click here to download) or from the Uniform Exchange directly.

Labelled bags can be brought into the Uniform Exchange when open, they can be left at the School Shop, Prep / Pre-Prep office, or at the Gatehouse at the South Car Park (Senior School).

Items might not sell immediately and your child may no longer be a pupil at the school, therefore it is important to inform us of any change of address.
