Dear Oakley Parents and Guardians

Excitement is building in Oakley as the girls have been looking forward to tonight’s Christmas Party. Various parcels and packages have been arriving all week with Mrs Pugh being called upon to make last minute alterations. We are all looking forward to an evening away from School, with some festive food, dancing and, no doubt, a few photographs!

Last weekend the girls enjoyed decorating our Christmas tree in the common room and the Secret Santa parcels are starting to arrive underneath.

The silverware in the Oakley trophy cabinet is increasing too. Well done to our U4 badminton team as well as our senior hockey team who both won their competitions.

They were rewarded with a McDonalds lunch in Oakley to celebrate their success:

My thanks to the swimmers who volunteered for the Senior House Swimming Competition this week. Fantastic team spirit was demonstrated and Eseovwe stood in to swim in three events. Well done also to Jette, Charlotte, Hina, Lina, Hailey, Yana and Shirley for braving the waters.
