House Cross-Country is not the most enjoyable House event to take part in, nevertheless, these boys gave it their all and impressed Mr Fallows with their enthusiasm and House spirit, well done to all. A pizza treat followed for all the runners!

I challenged the Senior runners with the incentive: Anyone winning at the end of lap one gets a special treat, anyone winning at the end of lap two an even bigger treat and if you win overall, the world is your oyster. Great fun, Will went off like a train and just missed out on 1st place at the end of lap one, eventually finishing 10th, a great effort. I then got a little nervous as Seb was steadily improving, he eventually finished 2nd by 50 metres, Phew! Great fun, all boys bought in to this, and although out of breath every time they went past me, they were keen to interact…… true spirit!

Look who Mrs Fallows found trying to escape! I hope he isn’t still up there!

Will, Amin and Alek stepped up to lead the organisation of a new House event on Friday evening; movie night in Cobham Hall. The Martian, not great, but a nice feel good movie entertained the boys for two hours after they filled their boots with homemade pizza for 100! Fresh popcorn, and a brilliant pick and mix, all washed down by gallons of fizzy pop! Not sure how they managed it, but they were quiet for the whole movie which was impressive with a huge amount of sugar inside them.

Jacob, Max, Rufus and Ollie were part of the victorious 7s team this week, well done boys!

Alex, Tristan, Ricardo, Luke, Jason, Sam, Jack, Gordon and Dan (nearly the full team) played well to be part of a winning basketball team, well done boys!

Jason, Joseph, Max, Steven and Darren were most impressive in the Orchestra in a day workshop and concert on Thursday, Very impressive.
