Well done to our tennis teams who have dominated matches this year.

In the County School's Doubles Tournament, the results were as follows:

Girls' Event
U14 Winners: Isabelle O’Connor & Lucy McLoughlin (Bromsgrove School)
U14 Runners up: Anabel Crowder & Isabelle Jones (Bromsgrove School)

U16 Winners: Bobby Mekushina & Claudia Bullock (Bromsgrove School)

Boys' Event
U14 Winners: Stuart Shannon & Cameron Owen (Bromsgrove School)

In the Schools' Team Tennis 2018, there were 28 teams from 10 different schools.

The winners of each division are invited to take part in the regional competition which continues this term.

Division 2 winner’s play in a regional competition held on one day at Loughborough. Bromsgrove's Boys' team (Year 9 & 10) reached the regional final before losing to King Edward School in a very tight final, coming down to a shootout. Bromsgrove's Girls (Year 9 & 10) finished 7th in the regional finals.

In division 1, the winners go through to a knock out stage in the region in order to gain a place in the National finals. Bromsgrove's Girls' teams (both Year 7 & 8 and Year 9 & 10) won their first match.
