Midlands Girls' Champions

The Bromsgrove 1st pair of Latesha Grant and Lilli Boersch were triumphant at the Midland Girls' tennis tournament. With the exception of 2020, the tournament has been played every year since the Second World War and the British weather was unlikely to stop it this year.

After five group matches, the Bromsgrove pair played a strong King's High Warwick in the final. They had previously lost to this pairing in the group stages so they knew that it would be a tough final match. Playing some fantastic tennis, and keeping cool under pressure, Latesha and Lilli emerged victorious to claim the 109 year old trophy. It is the first time a Bromsgrove pairing has won this prestigious Midland Girls' tournament.
