English Schools' Cup
The Prep and Senior Cross-Country teams competed in the first round of the English Schools' Cup.
The Prep girls were dominant in the race and they achieved the following places: Sara L 2nd, Scarlet P 3rd, Ella K 4th, Honey Bo L 6th, Teah P 7th, Amelia R 8th, Charlotte J 10th, Freya L 22nd and Katherine S 26th.
The top four runners in the Prep girls' category gave the combined team score of fifteen points, which was way ahead of any other school competing. This is particularly impressive as three of the four top runners are all a year young for this competition. This ranks the girls as first in the County and they are therefore through to the Regional round which will take place in November.
For the Prep boys, the results are as follows: Will P (3rd), Dan V (4th), Alex L (5th), Fin D (7th), George H (8th), Toby L (9th), James H (10th), Henry H (11th). Unfortunately, Tom F did not finish, but should be congratulated for participating.
The Inter boys' team performed well on Tuesday afternoon at the ESAA Cross-Country 1st round. Seb P led the team and finished a respectable 4th place. Callum W 7th, William H 9th, Jack W 11th and Dan G 16th, all ran well for the team to finish second which means that they have successfully qualified for the Regional round of the competition.
