Class of 2019 Results
Many congratulations to the Class of 2019 - another superb set of results spanning IB, A level and BTEC.
The 214 Upper Sixth pupils who sat their final exams did superbly well.
Bromsgrove School’s A*/A rate rose with 57% of all grades awarded these top grades and 77% of pupils gaining A*/B grades.
The School’s large cohort of 45 IB candidates achieved an IB average score of 37.5, with 12 achieving 40 or more points (the world average IB score is 29 points). In Higher Level IB subjects, 26% of entries scored a 7 (equivalent to an A* at A level), whilst the equivalent A*/A rate was 77%.
98 pupils sat the challenging EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) with 93 of those candidates (95%) achieving A*/A grades and the remainder grade B.
At BTEC, the 75 entries saw 21 achieve Distinction*, with a further 42 candidates attaining Distinction.
We wish our U6 leavers well for the future and look forward to following their progress where ever they are in the world.
