A Level Results Information
A Level pupils (and AS Maths only) will be able to access their results on iSAMS via the pupil portal from 7.30 am on Thursday, 16th August. Parents who would like to receive a summary of their son’s or daughter’s exam results should e-mail Mrs Ashcroft
Mr Ruben (Deputy Head Academic), Mr Wingfield (Director of A Level), Dr Thompson (Director of IB), Miss Leech (Head of UCAS and Careers), Dr Johns (Director of Sixth Form), and Houseparents will be available from 10:00 am on both A Level and GCSE results days for advice in person, by phone or by email.
For more information about Results Day on Thursday 16th August and planning ahead, please visit the UCAS website here
i) No results will be given over the telephone or by fax as this can lead to unfortunate errors.
ii) There may be delays in the system so we cannot guarantee the dates given.
iii) For all exams taken, a re-mark is possible. Pupils and parents should be aware that re-marks can be extremely expensive (exam boards have every incentive to discourage endless re-marks), the re-mark fee is required in advance and results in re-marks may fall as well as rise. The School’s advice should be taken. If a re-mark is required, pupils must formally contact the Examinations Office, in writing, to confirm which papers are involved and that the consequences of the request are understood. The forms necessary are available on the School Intranet or through tutors. Priority remarks are for UCAS candidates only and must be done in the first few days following the results. All others have a deadline of 15th September.
