'Reasons to be Cheerful' Photography Competition
The Prep School Parents' Association is organising an exciting photo calendar competition, which is free to enter and open to all Prep School year groups. We would like the children to send us some fabulous photographs of things that make them happy. Examples could be a place they like to visit, something beautiful in nature or simply a big slice of chocolate cake.
Dr Barron and Miss Read will choose a winner and runner-up for each year group to be made into our "Reasons to be Cheerful” calendar. The overall winner will have their winning photo printed on the front of the calendar and receive a £20 Amazon voucher. There will also be prizes for year group winners.
We hope that this will inspire the children to pick up a camera over half term and share their reasons to be cheerful.
To Enter the Competition
, please send photo entries in jpeg format to Dr Barron - VBarron@bromsgrove-school.co.uk
and mark the email subject as “Reasons to be Cheerful”
Please also include the child’s name, year group and the title of their photo. Only one photo entry per child.
The deadline to submit photos is Wednesday, 11th November
. The photo should be taken by the child, must be in landscape orientation, high resolution and should not contain any people.
By submitting the photo you grant permission to use your photo for the calendar, should it be selected. The judges’ decision will be final.
Ordering a calendar:
Even if your child does not submit a photo, we invite all parents to purchase a calendar. Priced at £7.50 each, we think that it will make a fabulous Christmas present for family and friends. School term dates will be included so it will be highly useful to have in the house. All proceeds from the sale of the calendar will go to the Prep Parents' Association to support projects in School. To order, please email PrepPA@bromsgrove-school.co.uk
. The cost will be added to your end of term bill.
We look forward to seeing as many 'reasons to be cheerful' as possible to inspire positivity for 2021.
