Ryan and Alex celebrated their birthday in the usual Elmshurst tradition earlier this week...
Not sure if we have any more birthdays this week, but we will have the usual ham and cheese toasties which the boys love! Not so much by Miss Heard and Mrs Fallows who have to make them all, but remember ladies, it’s all about the boys……..
We will also have an Easter egg hunt in house.
The boys also look forward to the 1.2 relays House event tomorrow and Senior House volleyball on Tuesday lunchtime - I’m sure the boys will be going all out to get extra rewards and treats.
Congratulations to Rufus, Max, Seb, Olly and Jacob who were a big part of the School's U18 rugby team to win at Rosslyn Park 7s last week, well done boys.
Senior House football took place yesterday - the boys played well to finish third, beating rivals WG in the playoff. Special mention to Andrew (bottom centre) for his own goal, I know he won’t thank me but the boys said I had to mention it.
This time last year we had broken up for Easter; it will be a long challenging week for many I’m sure. The reward of three weeks of rest will hopefully keep the boys going until the end. A number of boys will also be looking forward to trips happening over the holidays; French, German and Spanish to name but a few with boys on.
We also have the revision course for the first four days of the Easter break, with a number of Elmshurst boys signed up. Very much a different relaxed feel, with Mrs Fallows and I making breakfast each morning in house. The boys then go off for a 12-hour marathon refresher in their chosen subject.
