World Book Day celebrations

Year 3 celebrated World Book Day in style as they dressed up as their favourite book characters. We had a wide variety ranging from Oliver Twist to Alice in Wonderland, Fantastic Mr Fox to Hermione Granger.

The children began their day with a parade in Maple hall, followed by making bookmarks, creating large paintings of their characters and using the laptops to find brilliant adjectives to describe them using Wordart. They followed this up on Thursday with a fabulous fun Treasure Hunt quiz all around the Maple buildings and courts to hunt for questions and answers all about 'books'. Year 3 are very proud of themselves for being such super bookworms.
