House Music Competition

An impressive seventy-eight pupils took part in the House Music Competitions on Thursday, 8th February. It was an excellent day of music-making through the House system, and each pupil represented themselves and their House with great skill and aplomb. Each performed so well, it made the adjudication difficult for Mr Steven Legge, Head of Music at the Gloucestershire Music Service.

Equally impressive was the evening’s solo competition, a remarkable presentation of polished musical skill. It is notable that three Houses were represented by Lower Fourth pupils – stars of Bromsgrove’s future for some years to come.

Ensemble Competition
3rd place: School House
2nd place: Hazeldene
And the winners: Housman Hall




And in the Solo Competition
3rd place: Mulan Y of Oakley
2nd place: Vincent L of Lyttelton
