County Minors Athletics Competition

On Wednesday, selected Years 7 & 8 athletes enjoyed lots of success competing for the Bromsgrove and Droitwich District team at the County Minors Athletics Competition at Nunnery Wood. The highlights included:

Ella K achieved a pb in the 1500m in a time of 5.51.3 mins.

Chloe R won the 300m in a personal best time of 46.8 secs.

Amellie C came 2nd in the javelin throwing a personal best of 24.69m.

Lily-Mae W ran a personal best time of 14.1 secs in the 75m hurdles coming 3rd.

Freya L ran 29.1 secs in the 200m coming 3rd also achieving a pb.

Angelina S won the 75m hurdles in a personal best time of 12.6 secs.

Callum W ran a pb in the 300m - 44.8 secs coming 4th.

Daniel V won the 80m hurdles in a time of 14.1 secs.

Louis H threw 26.56m in the discus coming second.

Finally, Alex H jumped 1.42m in high jump which was also a pb.
