Bee Happy

Yesterday, Mr Walpole (father of Gethin in Year 1) came into Pre-Prep to talk to the Reception classes about being a bee-keeper. He showed the classes some of his honey bees in an observation hive and told them about the different jobs the bees do in the hive.

Pupils looked at his bee-keeping equipment and even tasted some of his delicious honey. It was a very interesting visit and helped them to learn even more about mini beasts.
