The Careers and UCAS Department is located in the busy Library Resource Centre, staffed with a full time, qualified Careers Adviser and a dedicated team of specialists to advise and guide students through their career at Bromsgrove and beyond.

Current students and Old Bromsgrovians have access to a wide range of data on careers, courses and higher education institutions through a variety of media resources. Preparation for life beyond Bromsgrove School is encouraged through one to one guidance interviews, external speakers, Careers and GAP fairs. Old Bromsgovians are a welcome resource for providing expertise in different fields of the ‘world of work’, offering advice and guidance to our highly motivated and inquisitive students.

University entrance is hugely successful with over 90% of students gaining their first choice place in a wide spectrum of courses and Higher Education institutions. Other students will take worthwhile Gap years or join business related apprenticeship schemes. By valuing diversity and encouraging personal ambition, we like to think of ourselves as the Department of the Future.
